Welcome to Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC)!
The New Hire Technology Orientation is designed for all new full-time and part-time CCBC employees to help orientation employees to CCBC technology and systems. Links to forms, resources, and other documents that will help you prepare for success. CCBC has several resources available to faculty & staff.
As the next step, to receive full access to all CCBC resources and systems, please follow these instructions:

Accessing Your Account
Complete your account setup: In order to take full advantage of the resources available at CCBC. This will allow you access CCBC systems.
When you login to CCBC Systems for the first time you will be asked to:

Create a stronger password if your current password does not meet criteria. You are required to change your password every 180 days

Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Login to CCBC Client Portal: This will allow you to request services and report issues. Please ensure that you have logged into the CCBC Client Portal
Essentials Software & Services
Once your account is setup, below are additional systems that require you to login:

SIMON - Online Information System: our online services platform where you can easily check financial aid, pay your bill, add or drop classes and more.

Office 365: all students, faculty and staff have access to Office 365 suite. Office 365 Suite include popular applications, like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams & OneDrive

The Daily Post (CCBC SharePoint): serves as the main homepage, offering top-level navigation and the latest faculty & staff news updates.

Name Badge Request Form: All employee name badges will be made by the CCBC Fab Lab housed at the Catonsville campus at no charge. No outside vendor should be used. Badges will be made on a monthly basis and returned to your office upon completion. The badge will include the employee’s name, in all capital letters.

Brightspace: Access your online course content, interact with instructors and peers, post discussion, upload assignments, review instructor feedback.

myCCBC : portal used to access CCBC digital resources and to interact with students, faculty, and staff. The portal provides access to courses and many student services and information in one location.

Adobe Creative Cloud: a collection of software and services for creative professionals. It includes popular applications like Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom

Banner Access: If you need Banner Access, discuss with your supervisor whether you need access to Banner. Banner Orientation is required to receive Banner Access. Once you have an active CCBC account, please register for Banner Orientation.

Computer:
CCBC maintains a list of standard hardware assets. Requests for non-standard hardware is considered on a case-by-case basis:
If you need hardware as a new employee, you may request a device by submitting a Hardware Request Ticket
Phone:
The CCBC telephone system integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Teams, enabling users to make and receive calls directly through the platform. Handsets are optional, providing flexibility for those who prefer using their computer or physical device.

Getting your CCBC OneCard
CCBC OneCard is your all-in one CCBC College ID.
To get your CCBC OneCard, you have two options:

Digital OneCard:
- Mobile App: Download the TouchNet OneCard mobile app. Follow the prompts to set up your account using your myCCBC username and password

Physical OneCard:
- In-Person: Visit any campus Enrollment Services Center to obtain a physical OneCard
