Adobe Creative Cloud Instructions

Overview

This is an instruction manual on installing Adobe Creative cloud on different operating systems.

Audience

Faculty and staff.

Procedure

In order to access the products, faculty and students will need a Windows 10 computer or a Mac computer. Chrome books and tablets are not supported. The following instructions provide details on how to access the programs.

Note: if you already created an Adobe ID using your CCBC email address, you may have to select enterprise ID or “Company or School Account” in order to receive applications licensed to CCBC. Open a web browser and navigate to http://www.adobe.com. On the Adobe homepage select “Sign In” in the top right corner

  1. You will be prompted to enter your email address. Use your full CCBC email address. Click continue

   2.You will be redirected to CCBC’s sign-in page. Enter your CCBC email username and password and click Sign In
 

        3. Some people may be presented with the following screen. If you see this screen, click on the Open button found underneath the Creative Cloud services.

        4.  You have access to all Adobe applications licensed to CCBC. To view every application, select the “All your apps” button in the center of the screen. This will display each product and give you the option to download.

 

Installing on Mac

  1. Click download on the first app you want to download. You will see a popup stating that permission may be required. Click OK

      2. A file will be downloaded to the Downloads folder on your Mac. Double click to open the file

    3. When the installer opens, double click on the icon to install the application

    4. Enter the username and password for the computer that you are using. Click Ok

    5. Click continue to install the app

    6. You will see a progress bar in the installer letting you know that the application is installing. Once it has completed, you will see a checkmark and the words “Installation is Complete”

You can return to adobe.com or use the Adobe Creative Cloud app to install additional apps you need.

Note: When you download your first app, the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application installs at the same time. This is the application that you will use to manage future downloads for adobe products

Installing on Windows

  1. Click download on the first app you want to download. You will see a popup stating that permission may be required. Click OK

        2. The file will be saved to the Downloads folder on your computer. You can find the file in your Downloads folder or double click on the file in the browser where it shows it downloaded.

        3. Double click to the run the file.

        4. You will receive notification to get started. Click Continue. click Start Installing on the second window to starting the installation.

        5. You will see a progress bar in the installer letting you know that the application is installing. Once it has completed, you will see a checkmark and the words “Installation is Complete”
