Teams: Managing Recordings

Overview

Recording in Microsoft Teams allows users to capture meeting content, including audio, video, and screen sharing. This feature is particularly useful for documenting important discussions or sharing the session with those who couldn't attend.

The following instructions are for recording meetings within Teams.

Record a meeting in Microsoft Teams

New recordings will automatically expire 180 days after they are recorded if no action is taken. You can also modify the expiration date for any recordings on which they have edit/delete permissions, using the files details pane in OneDrive. You can change it, so the recording has no expiration date.
