** Classroom Technology: Classroom Audio Help **

Overview

You may experience issues in CCBC classrooms where the audio does not play, is very quiet, or plays from the wrong speaker or headphone set. Please follow the procedures below to help diagnose and troubleshoot your issue.

Student, Faculty, Guest and Staff

Procedure

  1. Try restarting your computer.
    A common issue with windows is when there is a pending Microsoft update, the sound drivers will stop working until a proper reset is made to finalize and pending updates.
  2. Make sure to choose the correct output device in the task bar.
    The sound settings are located at the bottom right of the screen. Clicking on the speaker icon () will give you a chance to increase/decrease the volume as well as pick a sound device that is attached to the PC. (Headphone, speakers, headset etc..)
  3. If none of these troubleshooting options work, please submit a Service Request using the Classroom Technology Issue Report
