Overview
All faculty and staff whose job require a computer are eligible for a standard configuration desktop including one (1) PC, monitor, and mouse. Full-time faculty, administrators, and mobile staff are eligible for a laptop. This option includes a laptop and one (1) power cord. Any additional equipment must be purchased by the department.
When a new employee is hired into an existing position, the hardware used by the previous incumbent will be utilized. Employees hired into a newly created position will be provided a device.
Only one device per employee will be funded per CCBC policy approved by the IT Council.

Cost
CCBC and IT Council policy state that Technology Fee is used to fund one computer for Faculty and Staff members. Extra equipment, such as second monitor or additional computers, are departmental purchases.
