Overview

CCBC issues temporary guest accounts so visitors can use Guest Wi-Fi and approved public/library workstations.

Procedure

Request a guest account at the following locations, available at any campus:

  • The College Library 
  • The ITS Help Desk 

How to connect (Wi-Fi):

  1. Choose SSID: CCBC-Guests
  2. The sign-in page opens automatically. If it does not, open your browser and you’ll be redirected.
  3. Enter the guest username and temporary password
  4. Accept the Acceptable Use of Information Technology policy

Guest Wi-Fi is available across all campuses in public areas. If you do not see CCBC-Guests, stop by the Library or ITS Help Desk for local coverage info.

Policy and Limits:

  • Guest accounts are valid until 11:59 p.m. ET on the day issued. For multi-day visits, request a new account each day.

  • Guest accounts do not give access to MyCCBC, Brightspace, or internal systems. Printing/workstation availability may vary by campus.CCBC may immediately disable or refuse to grant a guest account for non-compliance.

Requirements

Have one of the following forms of identification to receive a guest account:

  • A driver’s license that includes both your name and photo
  • A government-issued ID (e.g., passport) with your name and photo
  • Another official form of identification that contains both your name and photo
