Login Changes

As computers are updated during summer 2026, faculty and students will notice that the generic login for the computer is no longer available. Students and Faculty will need to login with their CCBC username and password.

Local Guest Access

In situations where a student does not know their CCBC account, or if an event is occurring in a classroom with people who do not have CCBC credentials, there will be an option to sign-in as a Guest. Simply click on the Guest option on the lower left-hand corner of the login page as seen in the image below:

This local guest account will allow the user to access the Internet and applications installed on the computer. Students that do not recall their CCBC login can use the local guest account and then use the CCBC self Help shortcut on the desktop to recover their CCBC account information. Please note, guests will not have access to any CCBC network resources, including shared drives or printing.

Printing

Printing is only available for users that are logged in with their CCBC username and password.  As a reminder, CCBC students are provided with print credit based on the number of credits or contact hours they are registered for each semester.

Laptop Devices

Laptops within classrooms will be automatically logged in.

Security Settings

All user data will be removed at the end of each day. Students and faculty should continue to utilize OneDrive and other storage locations to save files.
