Configure your Voicemail

Overview

With Microsoft Teams Calling, users will be able to access their voicemails from within the Teams App, from a physical Teams phone (Polycomm CCX400), and receive an audio file with transcription through their CCBC email. . This article shares how to manage your voicemail and setup custom ringtones depending on where the call is coming from.

Full-time Faculty and Staff, Part-time Staff based on job duties

Procedure

1.  Select the ellipsis (…) next to your profile picture or initial.  Select the Settings option.
2.  Select Calls on the left side navigation and then select Configure Voicemail.
3. From the Configure Voicemail page, you can:
   1. Record a new voicemail greeting
   2. Adjust Call Answer Rules to customize what happens when a caller gets to your voicemail, 
   3. Adjust the default greeting language
   4. Create a text-to-speech voicemail greeting.  **If you recorded a greeting, it will override the text-to-speech option**
   5. Set up an Out of Office voicemail greeting.
