Making Calls using Teams Calling

Overview

Microsoft Teams offers the ability to make and receive calls directly through the application or using the physical Teams phone (Polycomm CCX400). This article shares how to make or transfer calls.

Procedure

Making Calls within the Teams Application

  1. Select the Calls icon on the left-hand navigation bar.  Use the dial pad to make a call.

    1. For internal calls, you can type a name or use the CCBC extension.

    2. For external calls, enter the entire number 

      1. Do not type 9 for dialing external call

Making Calls using the physical Teams Phone

There are three ways to make calls using the physical phone.

  1. Pick up Phone
    1. dial internal extension or external number
  2. Click on Calls Button
    1. dial internal extension or external number
  3. Click on the speaker button
    1. dial internal extension or external number
