Teams: Creating a Team Within Microsoft Teams

Teams in Microsoft Teams is a feature for creating a collaborative environment where a specific group can work independently toward shared goals. This article will guide users on how to create a Team within the Microsoft Teams app.

Procedure

1) Click on Teams on the side menu

2) click Join or Create team

3) Select Create team

4) You will be given a list of templates to choose from, for this demonstration, Select Class

5) click on Use this template

6) Name and give the new team a description

7) You can start adding members or skip this step for later

8) Your team as been created
