Printer service and supplies

Overview

Networked printers at CCBC are supported by a third-party vendor, Marco. This is the same vendor that currently supports CCBC copier and Print Shop equipment. Printers that are being supported under this contract have been tagged with this yellow Marco sticker.

Like the college-wide copiers, departments will receive their toner from Marco and any issues with these printers will be resolved by Marco. Paper for printers is NOT covered under this agreement. Departments will continue using the same process for requesting and receiving paper as they have previously.

Individually used printers (personal printers) that are not networked will not be covered under this contract. Departments will purchase toner direct from Office Basics.

Procedure

If there is an issue with the printer or it requires supplies, a department can request service by emailing copierservice@marconet.com or by calling 1-800-847-3098.  Departments will need to provide the ID number listed on the yellow Marco tag that is attached to the printer. 

If the supplies have not been delivered and the above resources did not provide a solution, please submit a CCBC Printer Service Request (see Related Services). When submitting a Service Request, please include the printer's CCBC ID number, the location of the device, a description of what is happening with the printer, and what type of troubleshooting has already been done (if any). A CCBC Help Desk technician will coordinate with you to come out and look at the equipment.

Cost

There is no cost to repair printers covered under the network print contract.
