Employee Receiving Permission Error Message when accessing TeamDynamix Client Portal

< !!! INTERNAL USE ONLY !!! >
Not for distribution directly to end user

Overview

Employees are added to a group in TeamDynamix titled "Employees" through an iPaaS flow.  This Employee group is used for permissions to access various services and knowledge base articles within the client portal.  If an employee receives an error message stating "You do not have permission to access this application" when accessing the client portal, then it is most likely due to their account not being in the Employee Group or their Authentication Username in TeamDynamix does not match their client portal username.

  1. You will enter their CCBC ID (900 number) and select the Find User button.

  2. Their current authentication username in TeamDynamix will appear in the Current Authentication Username field.  Their current username/email from Active Directory will appear in the New Authentication Username field.

  3. If they match, it will state "The user's authentication username matches their current account."

  4. If they do not match:

    1. make sure that the New Authentication Username field accurately shows an email address.  If the New Authentication Username field is showing the AD path (such as LDAP://ccbc.ccbcmd.edu/CN=....) then the form is not working correctly.
