This article contains a list of issues seen after a computer was upgraded to Windows 11.

Problems and Solutions

Printers lose printing features (secure print, staple, hole punch, etc.). 

Solution: Remove the print object and run GPUpdate to reinstall.  

Laptop running slow at log in or when opening Adobe applications.  Adobe apps not opening properly.

Solution: May be related to Adobe Acrobat or Creative Cloud being out of date.  If the applications (i.e. Acrobat) are out of date uninstall and reinstall.  If Creative Cloud is out of date uninstall and reinstall.

Teams showing screen that an update is needed.

Solution: Running the update from Teams does not always work, sometimes resulting in a loop of the message.  Download teams from this location for the latest version - https://statics.teams.cdn.office.net/evergreen-assets/DesktopClient/MSTeamsSetup.exe

USB Logitech web cams showing black screen in teams call or freezing when camera is activated.

Solution: Switch the webcam to a different USB port.  Device should reinstall when plugged into different port.

Miscellaneous screen/graphics issues.  Docking stations not working with laptops, computer locking up in teams meeting, etc.

Solution: Install drivers from Windows update.  If that doesn't work install the HP Support Assistant Tool and install missing and out of date drivers. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

Windows Photo and Camera application not installed:

Solution: App can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store as the user
