Process
Use the guidance below to choose the correct request path for Teams Phone/dial pad access, desk phone (handset) requests, shared office line or delegated phone setup requests, or support for an existing Teams Phone number or account.
Handset:
- Submit a phone support ticket for handset request or issues. This includes requesting a handset or handset configurations.
Phone Number / Dial Pad:
- Full-time staff requesting new Teams Phone/dial pad access should submit a phone Support request. Supervisor approval is required before the request can move forward.
- Part-time staff requesting new Teams Phone/dial pad access should submit a Microsoft 365 License Request because part-time Teams Phone access requires the license/approval workflow.
Note: A requester may not already have a phone number for a new Teams Phone/dial pad access request. A current phone number is not required when submitting a new access request.
Shared Phone Line/ Delegate Phone Setup :
- For a shared office line, department line, or delegated phone setup, submit a Phone Support request with supervisor approval. The support team will determine the correct Teams Phone configuration.
Submitting a Ticket:
- For full-time staff requesting Teams Phone/dial pad access, or for support with an existing Teams Phone number/account/device/voicemail: Phone Support Request
- For part-time staff requesting new Teams Phone/dial pad access: Submit a Microsoft 365 License Request
