Academic Program Exploration Request (Stage 1)

Introduction:

This form is used to request the exploration of new academic programming.  The process for requesting the exploration of new academic programming has two (2) stages.

  1. The first stage collects preliminary program information which will be used to determine if additional analysis (stage 2) is required;
  2. If applicable, the second stage will collect detailed research and data to support the request being made.

Prior to completing this form, it is necessary to identify a Faculty convener who will 1) bring together peers in the particular discipline to discuss the proposed programming collaboratively, and 2) sponsor the research needed to provide the following Stage 1 requirements of the Academic Program Exploration Request process:

(Note: A copy of these requirements can be downloaded from the Attachments section of this page)
