Overview
The asset status in TDX provides details on availability and usage of assets.
Audience
ITS Staff
Status
Shipped: Item has been purchased and shipped from vendor. Once detailed information about device has been received from vendor asset(s) will be created in TDX.
Storage – Assigned: Items in storage/work area designated for use. I.e. Lab replacement computers would be assigned this status while in storage awaiting deployment.
Storage – Available: Items in storage/work area that can be used (based on funding source). I.e. Tech fee computers could be used for lab replacements or staff primary device upgrades.
In Use: Device is active and in assigned location.
Retired: In storage waiting to be disposed/recycled. No longer viable for production, non-working, or end of life.
Disposed: Disposed/recycled. Equipment has been removed from campus.
Checked-in: Device is available for loan. ***Only use for devices designated as loaners***
Checked-out: Device is on loan. ***Only use for devices designated as loaners***
