Overview

In Microsoft Teams, you can show your desktop, a specific app, a whiteboard, or a presentation in a meeting.

You can share documents such as your PowerPoint lecture slides with participants. It’s a good idea to open any documents you want to share during the meeting before you start your meeting. Close any documents or browser tabs that you won’t be using

Procedure

  1. During the meeting, you will click the Share button.
  2. Select what you want to share:
    • Screen - lets you show everything on your screen
    • Window - lets you share an open window like a specific app you have open
    • PowerPoint Live - lets you share a PowerPoint presentation
    • Microsoft Whiteboard - lets you share a whiteboard where participants can sketch together
  3. After you select what you want to show, a red border surrounds what you're sharing

  4. Select Stop sharing to stop showing your screen
