Answer: Submit the Application for Early College Access online. After applying, allow at least one hour before accessing your myCCBC/SIMON account.
- Baltimore County Pubic School (BCPS students): Meet with your high school counselor to review eligibility.
Complete the digital ECAP form. You will be prompted to sign in with myCCBC credentials. Instructions for submission will be provided after accessing the form, and you will have the option to upload your transcript or SAT scores for placement."
Question: Can I take courses at both my high school and the college simultaneously?
Answer: Yes, you can take courses at both your high school and college as long as they don't interfere with each other.
Question: What are the eligibility requirements for ECAP?
Answer: Students must be enrolled in high school and reside in the state of Maryland.
Question: Are there specific deadlines for applying as an ECAP student?
Answer: There are no deadlines to apply, but there are ECAP consent form deadlines. To receive ECAP discounts, you must turn in a new ECAP form at the beginning of each academic year!

Answer: Yes, there is a specific application for prospective ECAP students along with the submission of a new ECAP Consent Form and high school transcript each academic year.
Question: When does the Academic Year begin?
Answer: Every new academic year begins in the summer (June).

Question: Are there any orientation sessions for ECAP students?
Answer: Although not mandatory, ECAP students are strongly encouraged to attend new student orientation. Once enrolled, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register or you can complete online orientation.

Question: How can my parents stay informed about my progress in dual enrollment courses?
Answer: Parents can file a FERPA Request to access communications, or they can discuss progress directly with the student. You can submit a FERPA release form at any ESC service center.
