Question: What does it mean to have SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress)

Answer: To maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress a student must maintain a GPA based on a sliding scale, complete 67% of credits, and adhere to the 150% max time frame.

Question: Why was my aid suspended?

Answer: Aid may be suspended if academic standards such as  (GPA, credit completion, time limits) are not met.

Question: How do I appeal a SAP suspension?

Answer:

  • Submit an SAP appeal form with supporting documentation for any extenuating circumstances.
  • You will need to access SIMON in order to complete the SAP Appeal form.
