Question: How do I apply?
Answer: CCBC has streamlined our application processes, completed through the website at Get Started - choose the path that is right for the student and their goals:
- Earn a degree (on-campus, fully online, transfer to CCBC, visiting)
- Earn a credit certificate (on-campus, fully online, transfer to CCBC, visiting)
- Earn a workforce certificate
Question: What is CCBC's application deadline?
Answer: CCBC has rolling admissions, but deadlines may apply for specific CE and Credit programs. For Selective Admissions with School of Health Professions, visit SHP Admissions. For CE Workforce Training Programs, review the specific program requirements (Program and Course Finder).
Question: What documents are required for my application?
Answer: CCBC recommend students submit a photo ID for expedient application processing, but is not required. Any further documentation may be requested upon further application processing to support identification verification.
Question: Can I complete a paper application?
Answer: It is strongly recommended students complete the online application, with the exception of international students. International students, at this time, are required to complete the application form - CCBC Application for Admission form.
Question: Can I apply for more than one program?
Answer: Students can apply to one program per application submission. However, students may register for multiple continuing education programs.
Question: Is there an application fee, and is it refundable?
Answer: CCBC does not charge an application fee for general admission. There is an application fee for selective admissions programs. Question: Can I update my application after submitting it?
Answer: You are not able to update your application once submitted. Depending on what needs to be updated, you may be required to complete additional forms.
Question: What are the minimum GPA/test score requirements.
Answer: CCBC does not require a minimum GPA or test score for admittance.
Question: Are standardized tests (SAT, ACT, etc.) required?
Answer: Standardized test scores are not required, but are recommended for testing exceptions and course placements for degree and credit-certificate seeking students.
Question: When does registration begin?
Answer: Registration dates vary each semester. Check the academic calendar on the CCBC website for credit-semester dates as well as course start and end dates for CE programs/courses.
Question: How do I know if I need to take a placement exam?
