Log In to Windows 11

  1. Once you turn on computer, you will see a lock screen with today's date & time. Press any key, click the mouse, or swipe up (on a touchscreen) to proceed to the login screen.

If you see another use login, you can select Other User

Log out Windows 11

There are multiple ways to logout of your Windows 11

Option 1: Using the Start Menu

  1. Click the Start Button

    • Located in the bottom-center of the screen (Windows icon) or Press Windows Key
  2. Click Your Profile Icon

    • It’s at the bottom-left of the Start menu.

  1. Select “Sign out”

    • Click Sign out from the dropdown menu.

Option 2: Using Keyboard Shortcut

  1. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete

    • This opens a black screen with several options

How to Launch the Windows 11 Task Manager | Dell US

  1. Click “Sign out”

    • Select Sign out from the list.

Option 3: Using Alt + F4 (on Desktop)

  1. Close or minimize all open windows

    • Make sure you're on the desktop.
  2. Press Alt + F4

    • This opens the “Shut Down Windows” dialog.
