Registration Error Codes

At the time of registration, some students may not be eligible to register for certain classes. 

· NEW students register once any placement requirements are met. 
· Returning students should be able to register during the registration period 

Some registration error codes may include (but not limited to):

 · Prerequisite not met: The student has not taken the course(s) required before taking this class and therefore they cannot be registered. The student cannot take the course until the prerequisite(s) have been met.

 · Co-requisite: The student is required to enroll in another course simultaneously with this course. The courses cannot be added independently of one another. Add the missing course.

 · Closed course: The course is full. There are no more seats. Look for another section.

 · Time Conflict: The student has selected one of more courses which have overlapping start or finish times. Chose a different course that doesn’t conflict or drop the original class before trying to add this one again.

· Field of Study Restriction: This section of the course is for specific majors and the student is not eligible to enroll at that time. They must select another section.

· Program coordinator/faculty or Advisor: Class requires permission of an advisor for registration.Contact your advisor for assistance with registering.

· Student Ineligible: Student may not be admitted; is withdrawn; or has a hold on the account.
