FAFSA Verification

Verification is a random selection process through the Federal Government. It is an attempt to verify information that was submitted on the FAFSA, to determine if it was completed correctly.

All verification documentation must be uploaded to the myCCBC portal.  Any document marked as ‘incomplete’ in the portal checklist should be uploaded to the portal (URL provided) as quickly as possible. We are only able to begin reviewing your file after everything has been submitted and marked as ‘received’ in our system. .  Your file will only be reviewed after ALL requirements are marked as complete. Note: All documents are entered into a ‘P’ status, which is viewed by the student as ‘Document Received-Not Processed’. ALL requested documents must be in a “P” status before it will be reviewed. Once the document is reviewed the status can change to ‘Cancelled’, ‘Denied’, ‘Satisfied’. All required verification documents must be submitted by the specific date communicated by the Financial Aid office. Pell and Direct Loan processing is handled differently.

There is a 14 day turnaround to release the verification hold.
