Disable or Remove Browser Plugins, Add-ons, and Extensions

Overview

Browser plugins, add-ons, and extensions are software components that add features or functionality to a web browser. Modern browsers most commonly refer to these components as extensions or add-ons.

In some cases, an extension or add-on can cause a browser or website to behave unexpectedly. A webpage may load slowly, load only partially, display errors, or fail to load at all. Disabling or removing the extension or add-on may help resolve the issue.
