After setting up OneDrive on your device, you can choose which folders or documents stay stored locally.
- To make sure a folder or file is always available offline, right‑click it and select “Always keep on this device.” This downloads the content and keeps it updated on your device.
- To remove the local copy and store it only in the cloud, right‑click the folder or file and select “Free up space.” This keeps it in OneDrive but stops it from taking up storage on your device.
